Under the sands of the droughtest of deserts..
arises with might a castle of black diamonds,
infringing fear on the arising suns
and darkening the four horizons.

despair, and dirges and chaotic screams
empoison the serene and holy silence,
as vagrant knights with demon souls
plunder the puzzled travellers..


the kindled sands can but quiver
under the heavy steps of the so-saddened lord,
for whom the mere thought of joy
should find its end under his sword.

leading his steps towards the mirrors-chamber,
the prince sets on his lonely throne:
a satin pillow in the midst of chamber,
with walls reflecting eyes and words.

an empty chamber of reflexions,
an infinite void that perpetuates itself
until it replaces life with deserted lands...
a profusion of inhibitted and hidden feelings
inside of a soul that's just as dry as sand.

this sultan of the deadly worlds
lies in his darkened castle
repealling any ray of sun
that may obfuscate his power.

an empty chamber of reflexions unperturbed
nor ever touched by human souls..
the tears inside were never heard,
no one but sehryar opened its doors.

night and day never enter the chamber.

one time, at dawn, sitting alone and silent
counting the countless empty mirrors,
shehryar, astunned, enraged and yet aghast,
observes
a silhouette of dust, a ghost that's fair,
a dreadful creature with no shame
reflecting her two eyes in thousands of frames.

the lord of pleasure and pain,
draining the desert of rain
and the women's eyes of tears,
now faces this child with no fears.

pressing a knife against her neck,
he hears the beats of her pulse
and tastes the pressure of her breath.
she is resplendent of hope,
redorent of youth and life,
yet similar to him in woes and curse,
sailed by a destiny of crimes against their hearts,
driven by blinded eyes in a deserted life..
they have now met to entwine their sighs.
