I.
Lured, you were, my knight for quite some time..
Abandoned, i was left alone with dragons and plunderers.
Alone, accompanied solely by spiders, i had to face lunatic, villain
travellers.
I've grown weapons in my flesh,
I've taught myself to kill as to defend myself..
I fought against even my will.
I've emulated panthers in their hunt,
I've grown wings, and claws and a poisonous tongue.
Asleep i have been in the highest of my towers ,
resting the same in my white gown, made of gullible thoughts and innocent
dreams,
awaiting my awakening.
But gone you were..
II.
Two castles with obstinate towers,
a sea apart one from another.
Two forests on each of these shores,
so dense and so abstruse to know.
A princess and a knight, sharing a common sky,
echo each other cryptic rites at night,
encoding thoughts using as messenger moon's light.
One night, however,
the damsel could percieve no echo in return..
Raising her tourmented eyes, she faced the omens of the outside world..
No moon was there on the sky
nor any star to carry luck ..
As if life had been absorbed by oblivion
the cosmos of the damsel was corrupted by a hungry void.
A mermaid's song,
phantasmagoric muttered notes woven by an illusory voice,
commended the knight's weak heart to pursue this damnation.
Walking on the steps drawn by the mermaid's hair,
he climbed down into a dungeon very much like hell..
And there he led a mutant existence
believing in such fairy-tale creatures
as mermaids,
yet doubting his essence of a real knight,
and debunking the existence of a real princess.
